I’m Carolyn Koehnline, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Journal Therapist (CJT), and clutter coach.
You may think that because I call this website “Confronting Clutter,” I’m here to whip you into shape—to get you to throw out your junk and be the cleanest, tidiest person on your block.
I don’t really care about that.
I’m here to help you figure out what baggage, beliefs and behaviors are a burden to you, and to support you in saying good-bye to whatever you decide you no longer need. I’m also here to invite you to create intentional space for the life you want to be living.
For over 20 years I’ve been helping people release the excess baggage from their homes, heads, hearts, and schedules to make room for what matters. Whether we’re in my therapy office, coaching by phone, in your cluttered space, in a workshop, or sharing a guided visualization or song to inspire change, I invite purpose and play, gentleness and bold exploration.
My goal is to help you find your own way, following the rhythms and timing that are right for you.
I’ll be teaching my online course, “Journal to the Self,” early in the New Year. Registration is now open. Click for details.
